Homemade Powder Laundry Soap

Homemade Powder Laundry Soap:
1 Bar grated soap Fels Naptha or Ivory. Ivory is much easier to find, but I prefer Fels Naptha
1 cup of Borax
1 cup of Arm & Hammer Washing Soda

Directions:
Stir the ingredients together (after grating the soap)

Use 2 TBS per load of laundry. This will work well in HE front loader washers it is a low-suds formula. (no suds at all)
I have been using this for years and it works great !

How much are you saving?
I'm glad you asked!
Tide per load cost .23
Homemade Detergent cost per load .07
OR
40 loads of Tide $8.97
40 loads of Homemade Detergent $2.80

A great addition to the Homemade Detergent.
Add 1/4 cup of Purex Crystals to your Powder. This will keep your laundry soft and smelling fresh for weeks.
